While the LAPD has not confirmed whether the Michael Jackson death investigation points to a homicide, the L.A. County District Attorney's office might be suggesting otherwise. TMZ reports that a carefully worded statement by the D.A.'s representative indicates a criminal investigation of the singer's death. D.A. spokesperson Sandi Gibbons says, "There have been conversations by District Attorney personnel with police and Coroner officials in connection with the ongoing investigation. It is common for Los Angeles County law enforcement agencies to be in contact with the District Attorney's office during criminal investigations."

"For 'New Moon,' I'm 30 pounds heavier than I was in 'Twilight' ... I went from a men's small to a men's large," Lautner told Interview.

    Interview Magazine

Lautner talks about how he had to pack on muscle. He says he "was in the gym five days a week, two hours a day. At one point, I was going seven days straight."

    Interview Magazine

He delves into how he transforms into his beastly character on screen, saying that "it's like I'm playing a split personality. Which is tricky, because sometimes I've had to play pre- and post-transformation Jacob on the same day."

    Interview Magazine

So what's next for Mr. Lautner? "I love action films. I'd love to do an action drama. I'm always looking to give my character something action-oriented to do."
