Janet Jackson to Release New Album in March

Pop superstar Janet Jackson revealed plans to release a new album this March in an interview with an Atlanta radio station. Jackson says she's currently working on the album in Atlanta, adding that her longtime boyfriend, producer Jermaine Dupri, has yet to add his touch to it.

The diva released her ninth studio album, '20 Y.O.,' to mixed reviews in September 2006. '20 Y.O.' celebrated the twentieth anniversary of 'Control,' which was Jackson's first commercially successful release.

In addition to dropping a new album, Jackson also plans to pen a book about her personal weight struggles. "[I'm] really coming from the soul with it," Jackson said of the project, "and what I was going through at different times in my life, and what possibly brought it about for myself."
