Michael Jackson's Thriller Celebrates Its Anniversary

1. When Fleetwood Mac, who are huge icons like Michael Jackson, celebrated their 25th release of the biggest selling American albums "Rumors," No. 2 after Jackson's "Thriller," they put aside their legendary personal differences and problems, created an awesome comeback album "The Dance" and had two Top Ten singles - "Silver Springs," and "Landslide," one of their biggest hits ever. They were all fifty years old at the time. The Eagles followed suit as did Cher and the Rolling Stones.

The Jacksons need to make sure that Michael is safeguarded from himself the way the Eagles did with Joe Walsh so that they can keep it together and make comeback history. I am not sure that they can. It is sad because this was once a very talented and relevant musical act.

2. I think we should just let the man do what he does best and thats make music. Thriller will go down as the most succesfull album ever, so you've gotta give him credit for that fact alone.

3. I agree with you Jack, making music is what Michael does best. Honestly, i' am ecstatic to hear that the "Jackson 5" might have a reunion tour. I'll do my best to get tickets. But in the meanwhile no matter what he did, or maybe he didn't even do it, everyone has to agree that Michael's the "King of Pop".

6. Michael is one of the most influencial musical icons ever, he can totally make a comeback. Everyone in the WORLD knows who michael is, and all sing along to his songs. And yes, the world, no exaggeration.

Mike has been so taken down by media, its really annoying that they actually get to your heads. Michael is NOT a bad man at all. People are just ignorant a lot of the time.

So yes, he can make a comeback.

I was just in the fifth grade when michale jacksons thriller came out and it was one of the best albums i ever heard, and one of the best albums i took the time to learn all the words to all the songs, this album forever rocs in my heart, michael jackson was truly the king of pop when he made this album, it showed his passion for the industry, his fans and for his music, michael come back with an album that is worthy to have your name under it................thriller for me is the best album u ever made.

8. Michael Jackson has achieved an amazing amount during his career and that can never be taken away from him. He is still the same person that wrote those great tunes ( Billie Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, BAD, Scream etc), so he still can write great music. I'm waiting with interest to hear the new remixed Thriller tracks and I hope his comeback proves successful.
