Blake Lewis Day Dreams in Our Studio

When it comes to 'American Idol,' sometimes second is the place to be. Clay Aiken, Bo Bice and Katharine McPhee have all gone on to have widely successful releases, and Blake Lewis is no exception. The 26-year-old beatboxing rocker became a fan favorite during the sixth season of the widely popular talent show, and has been on the rise to stardom ever since.

Lewis and his band recently stopped by our Sessions studio to perform his hit single, 'Break Anotha,' and four other songs from his debut album, 'Audio Day Dream,' or 'A.D.D.' as he calls it.

"'A.D.D.' was a concept from [my drummer] Kevin [Sawka] and I because he's way ADD and everyone thinks I'm ADD," Lewis explains. "So it just totally fit. We have too much fun. It's like a rock show, but we're performing pop and drum and bass, and different styles that we're all into. We all come from different backgrounds. We just all mesh together really well."
