The Last Goodnight Wake Up in Our Studio

Last summer, the Last Goodnight's 'Pictures of You' dominated the airwaves and emanated from the tube on the TV show 'Brothers and Sisters.' But what most people may not know is that prior to being called the Last Goodnight, this Connecticut-based group released two albums and an EP as Renata.

"Renata was a girl's name, and it was never pronounced correctly," singer Kurtis John tells PopEater during the TLG's recent performance in our studio. "It always pronounced like Recata, Remota, Retata. People thought It was like a cheese, a hotel, a painting ... I mean it's humiliating to have people ask, 'Did you name you band after a [kind] of cheese?'"

Watch the Last Goodnight's full performance, including their hit single, 'Pictures of You,' after the jump.
