Like movie careers, wax figures and tabloid-worthy relationships, it seems that "lines," be they fragrance, clothing or edible cosmetics (thank you, Jessica Simpson), seem to signal the arrival of a star into the pop icon realm.Cue Avril Lavigne. The outspoken pop-punkette has announced that she will release her own clothing line this summer. Named after a nickname from her dad, the 'Abbey Dawn' collection will be available at Kohls nationwide in July.
What can we expect from Avril's apparel? Affordable. The 23-year-old singer calls the look "rock glam" and the pieces, which include hoodies jeans and t-shirts, will be sold for anywhere from $24 to $48.
