Panic at the Disco Deliver a 'Pretty Odd' Perfomance

1. My main problem is that I do NOT know what Nine in the Afternoon is. I thought 9 meant 9PM, dark, nighttime. So maybe they mean 9AM, light morning-time. But when the heck is 9 in the afternoon?!? Explain your lyrics, Panic!

2. They suck. I loved them last year, they were soooo amazing. But now, they SUCK! Oh, and mcwhammer, nine in the afternoon has nothing to do with time. Have you looked at they other titles of their songs? Yeah, they're not supposed to make sense, duh.

3. Pretty Odd for a reason. They are doing what they want. I like them because for once there is a band that is DIFFERENT. People didn't like Bob Dylan when he did something different. People don't have to like everything a someone does, but there is a reason that people are still into this band.

5. wow...what happened to PANIC? Their first cd was so freaking amazing and i fell in love with them, but PRETTY ODD is the most retarded cd ive ever bought. i want my money back. they dont sound like themselves anymore!! in the intro (we're so starving) they say "dont worry we're still the same band" but i beg to differ. PANIC, you guys have gone from one of my top 5 favorite bands to top 25.

6. Nine in the afternoon was inspired when the band was writing songs in a room that had no windows. I think at one point Ryan asked what time it was and someone said it felt like seven in the afternoon. They liked the idea and put nine instead because it fit better....

7. Personally, I love Panic's new sound! (But I was never a huge fan of them before). I just think they've matured as a band. And Brendon's vocals sound so much better on Pretty. Odd! This sessions is awesome :D

8. Firstly, "Nine in the Afternoon" came about when Spencer asked what time it was when they were writing songs, locked in a room with no windows. But he originally said "Seven in the afternoon", but it was changed to fit the song. And people are really ignorant and hypocritical. If people were true fans they would embrace their new music. As fans you should have expected Panic to break some boundaries like they did with "Fever".

9. o and one more thing "Buck" you are soooo wrong panic is so awsome live they're like one of the best bands that do good live, they like sound exacly like the record. (in my opinion)

10. ok so nine in the afternoon isn't really a time of day, it all started when someone asked what time it was in their practice space cuz it had no windows and they had been in it for about 9 hrs. and somebody said that it was seven in the afternoon, but they changed it to nine so that it would go along w/ the song. and if you at the clocks in the video they're backwards. and to the people who dont like panic anymore just cuz their music "change" if you wear a real panic fan you would probably support them and dont you think they would have change a little bit after 3 years? i for one love panic and pretty. odd. and i'll probably always will...lol sorry for the long comment i just had to say that..
