6. If a person labels themselves as "goth" or "emo" they're trying too damn hard! "Gothic" is not a style, it is a state of mind, and 98% of the "goth" rockers out there, such as MCR and P!ATD don't even know what it means to truely be gothic. It is a state of mind, kids! And no, just to make it clear, that does NOT mean that you go around cutting and being anti-social....becuase once again, if you have to put any sort of EFFORT into something like this, then you're trying too hard and you just need to give up and go home.
