Gavin Rossdale Goes Solo, Puts New Spin on Old Bush Tune

It is no surprise that former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale played 'Comedown,' one of the band's '90s hits, when he stopped by our L.A. studio for a Sessions taping. But performing an acoustic rendition of Bush's 'Letting the Cables Sleep' was a spur-of-the-moment decision.

"The first time we played it was on actually on camera because that's how we roll," Rossdale told AOL Music.

Rossdale, again focusing on his musical career after a hiatus -- during which he married No Doubt rocker turned pop star Gwen Stefani, became a father and dabbled in acting -- visited the studio for a stripped performance of material from his debut solo album, 'Wanderlust'.

"I'm gonna take a little bit of time to let the record set in with everyone, make them fall in love with it," Rossdale said of the album. "Let it become indispensable to everyone."
