(Sept. 9) - Josh Hartnett is suing a British tabloid for pushing a story alleging he had a sexual tryst at London public library and that the whole thing was caught on a surveillance tape, BBC News reports.

    'Black Hawk Down' actor Josh Hartnett is suing a British tabloid for their "defamatory" report alleging the actor was caught having sex in a London library with surveillance cameras rolling. He is seeking damages and an apology from the Daily Mirror.

    Verne Troyer has been keeping busy since the leaking of his sex tape. He successfully stopped a porn broker from releasing the video and is now suing his co-star, ex-girlfriend Renae Shrider. The actor best knows as "Mini-Me" alleges Shrider leaked the tape as revenge for him breaking up with her and says she physically abused him during their relationship.

    Sex tapes reportedly go old school as Vivid Entertainment claimed it had an 11-minute film of guitar god Jimi Hendrix caught in the act with two women. They say they've done extensive research to assure the footage is legit, Hendrix's estate says there's no way the tape is real.

The "Black Hawk Down" star, 30, is seeking damages and an apology from the Daily Mirror, for allegations that were "defamatory and unsubstantiated" and a "complete fabrication," his lawyer said in a statement.
The Mail reported that library workers witnessed the alleged incident and that the footage was floating around.
Hartnett is especially upset because the story was picked up by news outlets all around the world, including here at PopEater (See: Desperately Seeking a Hartnett Sex Tape).
At the time the story broke, an adult video company announced they were offering $500,000 for the rights to the alleged tape.
Red Light District CEO David Joseph said he would "encourage the owners of the tape to bring it to us," and that "Josh shouldn't be embarrassed. As we've seen with Paris Hilton, these tapes can make a career not hurt it."
