Mel Gibson is hands-down our all-time favorite beard. It's the perfect combination: Crazy eyes + tugging + grey streak = Best. Beard Ever.

George Clooney went swarthy during the filming and promotion of 'Syriana,' his oil-controls-policy movie. While we probably prefer a shaven Clooney, his ability to still look like heaven with or without beard impresses us greatly.
