(Sept. 22) - One month after a judge ruled to evict comedian Dane Cook from his apartment for not picking up his chihuahua's poop, Cook says he would suffer "mental and emotional" damage if he was forced to leave. He claims the "presence" of former tenants John Belushi and Steve Martin will keep his career on track, so he cannot leave, Hollyscoop reports. WTF?! We smell a stronger odor billowing from his apartment, and it's not the dog.
In the most recent court documents, Cook claims, "I know that the presence of those that have lived there before me affects me deeply and provides me with inspiration."

    Singer John Rich and former 'Nashville Star' contestant Jared Ashley have filed lawsuits against each other - Ashley sued Rich for an alleged assault, and Rich sued for defamation. Rich has now turned himself into police to face those charges.

Cook went on to say, "In the same way that writers can get writer's block, comedians can really easily run out of ideas and 'stories'; I am extremely frightened that this will happen to me if I am forced to move out of my apartment. I've seen it happen to other comics, that something interferes with their connection to their creative muse, and it's destroyed careers."
His West Hollywood neighbors had complained about Cook numerous times. Dane had even received three different warnings from the building owner. But Cook choose to not clean up his act and looks like he might be evicted for good.
