(Sept. 25) - Goodbye, "Do Not Disturb" ... we literally did not know you.

The FOX comedy about New York City hotel employees starring serial TV actor Jerry O'Connell and lovable "Reno 911" star Niecy Nash has been canceled after just three episodes of unwatched, and un-watchable, badness, EW.com has learned.

On Monday, the show's producers issued a tongue-in-cheek public apology "for being the perpetrators of such bad television," but begged viewers for another chance.

The reviews were not kind, with most headlines reading: "Don't Bother With ..." and "Viewers Unlikely to Disturb ..." and "Disturb Is a Disaster."

This hasn't been a good year for O'Connell, who hasn't had a hit since the 89-episode NBC series, "Crossing Jordan."

His last show, "Carpoolers," was yanked by ABC in early 2008 after just 12 episodes. Of course, the TV writers strike didn't help matters.

Nash is best known for her work on "Reno 911," the long-running fake "Cops"-style show on Comedy Central.

Repeats of ''Til Death' will fill the Wednesday time slot.
