(Sept. 25) -- We always take Star magazine reports with a grain of salt, but when the tabloid reported this week that Lindsay Lohan was possibly cutting herself, we let photos do the talking ... and we're borderline convinced they're right.

Is Lindsay Cutting?

    In the wake of a new Star magazine report claiming that Lindsay Lohan is back on drugs and also cuts herself, we're doing some photographic investigation. Seen here on Sept. 15, Lohan cleary has a series of lines (inset) on her arm resembling scratches or cuts.

    Three days before that photo was taken, Lohan is seen here on Sept. 12 sporting gloves. While there's no evidence to suggest she wore them to conceal something, the cutting question will surely come into play for many.

    On Sept. 10, Lohan -- never one to shy away from showing skin -- opted for a long-sleeved jacket while attending the 'Stand Up For A Cure' benefit at Madison Square Garden.

    On Sept. 7, she wore an equally arm-covering outfit while attending the Video Music Awards in Los Angeles. Call us crazy, but long sleeves in L.A. in September? Something's fishy.

The new reports and revelations, while still just rumors, come as Lohan is trying to mend her career from past damage. In 2007, she was arrested twice on drunk driving offenses. She then went into rehab.
Lohan also made headlines this week when she admitted for the first time that she and Samantha Ronson have been an item for "a long time." The two have been romantically linked for more than a year.
