ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 6) - Most girls have pie-in-the-sky dreams of throwing a great Sweet 16. But if you're Miley Cyrus, you take it that extra mile by taking over Disneyland.
"I couldn't think of a better place to get everyone together to have fun," Miley told PopEater, "but I didn't realize there was going to be seven thousand people at my birthday! I'm looking forward to riding Space Mountain."
The action began as the sun went down on Sunday, October 5, starting with the official party arrivals, marching past Sleeping Beauty Castle down a 500-foot purple carpet. The first star to get the crowd going was 'America's Next Top Model' judge Jay Manuel, soon followed by Tyra Banks herself. 'The Office's Steve Carell followed, as did '90210's Jennie Garth. Jennifer Love Hewitt waved as 'Dancing With the Stars'' Christian De La Fuente questioned whether or not boys did anything special for their 16th birthdays. But when Roshon Fegan, Meaghan Jette Martin and Anna Maria Perez of 'Camp Rock' made their way down the carpet, the crowd went berserk. Did they ever imagine the movie was going to be such a great success?
"No," all three chorused to PopEater. Meanwhile, Fegan turns 17 the next day.
"I'm doing a double celebration," Fegan tells PopEater. "I was thinking maybe tomorrow I may go to the moon -- that might top this."
Fellow castmember Demi Lovato just celebrated her sweet 16 a month prior -- at Applebee's. "I went with my band," she laughed. "I like going to crazy birthday parties, but I don't know how Miley does this. I'd feel so much pressure!"

Though Lovato's name is being chanted all the way down the line, it was soon drowned out by screams for Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus. Dressed in a creme-colored frock coated in rhinestones, Miley walked the carpet barefoot until she was forced to put on her sparkly green heels after hugging Lovato warmly. "Thank you so much for coming!" she squealed to Lovato.
The party moved its way to the Rivers of America, where Miley's dad took the stage to sing some of his tunes, including 'Back to Tennessee' (which he wrote for the upcoming 'Hannah Montana' movie), and his old classic, 'Achy Breaky Heart.' Led in with a countdown, Miley hit the stage in a white vest and tutu to sing 'See You Again,' which was barely audible above the screaming crowd. She followed with renditions of 'Breakout,' 'Fly on the Wall' and 'G.N.O.'
The grand finale, however, came at the central hub in front of Sleeping Beauty castle. Surrounded by sixteen 16-foot tall candles that glowed purple -- Miley's favorite color -- the star of the night blew out the candles on her birthday cake and set off a firework spectacular that was one for the history books as the 'Hannah Montana' hit 'Best of Both Worlds' played. But not one to hog the celebration, Miley shared the event with the Youth Service America -- which promotes youth volunteerism -- and helped gift them with $1 million to continue their hard work in encouraging kids to get involved in their community.
As the evening wound down, one question remained: exactly how was she going to top this for her next milestone celebration at 21?
