Cyrus and Gastin, who are both playing the "just friends" card, have been spotted together at premieres, fashion shows and church. Cyrus opened up to PEOPLE about their relationship.
"He's been a really great friend more than anything," Cyrus said.
But when asked point blank if she was dating the 20-year-old underwear model, she answered, "Maybe. Maybe not."
"Everyone started judging us as soon as we started hanging out... He's a really great Christian guy. We have the kind of relationship where we can talk about [things related to being in the public eye] and he gets it," says Cyrus.
