According to Page Six, the author of "If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans" and "How to Talk to a Liberal" has had her jaw wired shut, although the much-read gossip column doesn't divulge as to how Coulter received the injury.

True or not, the news has already elicited a colorful reaction from a mix of Coulter fans and haters on the Page Six site. Here's just a sample:

"Ann Coulter, silenced??? Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!"

Big Fan (or Coulter Street Team Member):
"Sweet Ann is the foremost political humorist of our generation, and has the book sales to prove it. She is a latter-day Will Rogers. New book out mid-December, just in time for Christmas. No doubt she'll start on another while her jaw heals."
