(Dec. 4) - Paris Hilton might be putting aside her political acting to take on a less controversial role as Tinkerbell - not her pet Chihuahua - actually the fairy in 'Peter Pan.' Insiders tell NY Post's Page Six that the heiress wants to play the lead role in Disney's new live-action movie, 'Tinkerbell,' in which the fairy is transformed into a real girl.

"Paris has worked on her acting chops lately and showed some comedy prowess in her YouTube spoof of running for president," a Page Six insider said.

According to industry sources, Hilton has been interested in the role for some time and hoping to land the movie's lead role. While some are skeptical, Page Six reports that, "Disney suits saw [her YouTube video] and think she may be developing some comedic-actress potential."
