(Feb. 9) - World renowned and oft-ogled seductress Dita Von Teese can have just about any man she wants, but after the "complete heartbreak" of her failed marriage to Marilyn Manson, the burlesque superstar swore off sex for a whole year.

Von Teese (real name Heather Sweet) tells Fabulous Magazine about losing her mojo when things went sour with Manson. They married in 2005, but she filed for divorce a year later in response to his hard-partying ways and a rumored-then-confirmed-now-kaput relationship with actress Evan Rachel Wood. "After the divorce I was going through complete heartbreak," she says. "It changes you. I spent the first year not having sex at all."
The irony of a burlesque dancer abstaining from sex is not lost on Von Teese -- she admits her celibacy stance "was strange as I still continued to convey sex in my work."
"I didn't feel ready to have another partner. I didn't feel the inner chemistry you need to want to have sex. It wasn't there. I needed to get the past out of my system and to listen to my emotions."
But alas, Von Teese has had time to reflect and learn from her heart-wrenching experience and is now, well, back to business.
"Let's say I'm enjoying myself at the moment," she explains. ''I have suddenly become quite lecherous and it's fun. I absolutely adore good sex.
In fact, the 36-year-old model is chalking up her return to boudoir sports as a way to deal with the economic recession. "Like anyone, I think about sex a lot and let's face it, in times like these it's one thing you can really enjoy because it doesn't cost a thing."
