(Feb. 9) - If you had asked us to come up with the strangest musical pairing we possibly could, we still wouldn't have imagined the duo of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. The Led Zeppelin superstar and the bluegrass singer responsible for some of the better tracks on the 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' soundtrack paired up last year and - like chocolate and peanut butter - proved to be two great tastes that taste great together. The unlikely pair took home the Grammy for album of the year.
Why stop there? If the guy who put the Led in Led Zeppelin can team up with a country fiddler and win awards, surely there are unexpected combinations just waiting to take the world of entertainment by storm. Here are our Top Ten Dream Teams in music and movies:
10. Meryl Streep and Zac Efron. Zac has sung and danced his way through a trilogy of 'High School Musicals' and Meryl didn't completely embarrass herself in 'Mamma Mia.' A musical with this mismatched pair would surely top the charts.

9. Beyonce and Etta James - ladies, ladies. Let's bury the hatchet. The classic American love song 'At Last' - which, if we may remind you, was recorded and played years before either of you touched it - would make a lovely duet.

8. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, in a musical variety show like 'Sonny and Cher'. They keep giving interviews saying they're cool with each other, so why not?  We have no idea if they can sing, but that's hardly the point.

7. Jay-Z and Frank Sinatra. Remember when Natalie Cole recorded a duet with her late father? We'd love to see the leader of the Rap Pack breaking it down with the leader of the Rat Pack, hologram-style.

6. Just think about it. Five years from now, Abigail Breslin and Dakota Fanning in the next big female buddy cop comedy. We know comedies don't usually get the critical acclaim these two are used to, but with this casting - can you say Oscar?

5. William Shatner and Taylor Swift. We would love nothing more than to see Shatner bring his 'Rocket Man' treatment to any one of Swift's tunes, and we think she could really bring out the sweetness in his performance.

4. Josh Groban and Metallica, because seriously, nothing could be more hardcore than Josh Groban singing 'Enter Sandman.' Literally nothing - except possibly puppies, ponies, and a few of the tougher kittens.

3. Marilyn Manson and the Jonas Brothers. We're not sure if we'd rather see Manson dressed like a squeaky-clean hipster Jonas, or the Jonas Brothers all gothed up Manson-style. We'll let those kids work it out for themselves, because either option seems pretty great.

2. Miley Cyrus and Radiohead. Picture Miley singing 'Paranoid Android.' Picture Radiohead performing 'Nobody's Perfect.' This pairing is clearly the 'Best of Both Worlds.' (No pun intended. Well, no. Obviously it was.)

1. Britney Spears and Bruce Springsteen. Need we say more?
