The twang rocker, 34, and his button-cute bride, 24, exchanged vows quietly on Tuesday, Moore's rep confirms to PEOPLE. The couple went unrecognized when they applied for a marriage license earlier in the afternoon.
In the April issue of Marie Claire magazine, Moore says of Adams: "He's a good egg. I'm in awe of him: his brain, his passion. He's truly one of a kind."
The pair have kept their courtship quiet from the start. Few knew they were an item again after originally breaking up in July 2008 following a few months of dating. Adams reportedly felt uncomfortable about all the attention she received from paparazzi.
At the time of the breakup, Adams told OK! Magazine that, "Mandy is one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life."
Moore briefly reunited with ex-boyfriend Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein as he recovered from his September plane crash, but after breaking up with him again in December.
This is the first marriage for both.
