(March 23) - Jade Goody, a British dental assistant turned reality-TV star who lived most of the last six years in the public eye, died Sunday of cervical cancer at the age of 27. Once an object of ridicule, mocked for her sloppy lifestyle and frequent use of racial slurs, Goody became something much more to thousands of fans as she battled terminal cancer with the cameras capturing every step of her illness.
