According to TMZ, which first reported the altercation, Penley claims a scorned Collins assaulted him while he slept, using anything she could get her hands on... including water, three apples, and a cat.
Collins, 26, was charged with two counts of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment, according to the NYPD. After getting released on bail, she told the New York Post that the whole thing "was a miscommunication" and simply "a break up that went badly."
Collins had a sharp-tongued reputation on the Bravo TV fashion-design competition. Penley, an artist and musician, wrote a song called "CAT?" for Collins' "Runway" finale.
Collins was arrested March 17.

Roger Ebert vs. Lou Lumenick: Thyroid cancer has literally left Ebert speechless, so when his sightline was obstructed during a screening this week, the critic tried repeatedly to use tapping and gestures to get the attention of the guy in front of him. That dude was rival critic Lou Lumenick, who probably didn't think it through before hitting Ebert on the leg.

"Evil spawn Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity," Roseanne Barr writes on her blog.
