The former 'Eight Is Enough' and 'Charles in Charge' star -- whose trifecta of woe in 2008 included bankruptcy, divorce and a suicide attempt -- trudged out his treasures on Thursday for scores of bargain-hunters in an afternoon fire sale.
Up for grabs were couches, TVs, a piano, various memorabilia and a trove of dead animals, including stuffed wild boars, a lion head and mounted deer.
According to the Kansas City Star, the ex-heartthrob was met with cheers when he emerged from his house, which is in foreclosure.

"I think you're all nuts," he said. "I want to party with you."
One neighbor, sensing the ultimately sad nature of the event, shouted, "We're sorry, Willie."
"Don't be," he responded, shaking his head.
The event was actually set up by a production company that is filming a TV documentary about the down-on-his-luck celeb. In fact, Aames appeared to not have much part in the sale's planning. "I have no idea what the prices are," he was heard saying.
Aames moved to the Kansas City area in the early 1990's after overcoming cocaine addiction. When Hollywood jobs dried up, he turned to religion and spent years teaching kids about Christianity as the character "Bibleman."
