Adam Lambert Tackles Tears for Fears

(April 8) - It seems that folks either love him or hate him, but last night Adam Lambert succeeded in doing what few 'Idol' contestants have ever done before: eliciting a standing ovation from one Simon Cowell.
On a night where contestants were challenged to perform a song from the year they were born, the polarizing Lambert toned down his usually bombastic delivery with a quiet rendition of Tears for Fears' 1982 hit 'Mad World.'
