Fans of furry friends, everywhere can relax. Angelina Jolie is still an animal lover.
<<< The actress has been in New York filming the spy film 'Salt.' She was was spotted in a chinchilla poncho and matching hat on the set last week, but UsMagazine.com reports that movie publicists confirmed to PETA that it's fake.
"The chinchilla is actually synchilla," the animal-rights group writes on its blog.
Jolie's every movie on the set of 'Salt' has been scrutinized.

Just last week, there were rumors that the actress collapsed on set.
"To be fair, it was after she'd filmed a strenuous scene in which she ran around the set, but it was still shocking to see her crumble...there was something very wrong with her fitness levels if she couldn't handle a couple of action scenes," Now magazine explained of the situation.
But a rep for Sony, the studio behind the movie, says it's not true, Usmagazine.com also reported.
"I can confirm that those rumors are in fact not true!" the rep tells Us.
Jolie plays a CIA officer who's accused by a defector of being a Russian spy and must elude capture long enough to establish her innocence in the thriller being directed by Philip Noyce.
