Mel Gibson's rumored Russian doll has been silenced by the actor's lawyers until his potentially costly divorce can be settled, Britain's The Sun reports.

    Gibson and wife Robyn Moore are divorcing after 28 years of marriage. Without a prenuptial agreement, Moore could go after half of the actor's earnings from 1980 onward which is estimated to reach the $1 billion mark.

    According to divorce papers filed by Gibson, the pair separated a week after he was arrested for drunk driving in July 2006.

Pop singer Oksana Pochepa, who claims to be in love with Gibson, told a press conference this week that his lawyers convinced her that "until Mel and his wife Robyn [Moore] settle their relations, no one has the right to speak about this."

"It is unfair ... As soon as the divorce happens, I will be able to comment," she said. "He is a superb man. I have no choice except to keep silent now."
