Ryan Seacrest may need to start double-checking his sources.
The 'Idol' and radio host recently told his listeners that Britney Spears was expecting a third child, citing a 'reliable source.' The only problem is Spears' camp says that story is "absolutely" false, according to Britain's Daily Mail, who cites Perez Hilton ... though the story is nowhere on Perez's site.
Skip over this contentSpears rep Adam Leber reportedly said that Seacrest "has communication with our camp and could have checked this before saying" that Spears was expecting.
Still, Seacrest's people say there's got to be something to the story.
"Ryan and Britney are friends. He wouldn?t have said something like that unless he knew the truth," a source told the Mail.
