Simon Cowell isn't the only thing that 'American Idol' hopefuls are scared of.
According to former contestants Anoop Desai and Lil Rounds, the 'Idol' mansion is haunted, PEOPLE reports.
"Some people are convinced that there's a ghost there, especially Allison [Iraheta]. But I've never really seen her," Desai says.

Anoop adds that the ghost's name is Phyllis and that she is "just a friendly troublemaker. She bangs around and keeps people awake. Allison hears something in her room every night. I don't know if someone's just creeping around in there or what."
Lil Rounds hasn't seen her either. "I've never had any encounters with Phyllis, and I'm glad I didn't, because I was in a room by myself, so I would've been totally freaked out," she claims.
But Rounds describes Iraheta's encounters with the spirit. "Allison said she lives in her room. She's heard growls. I was like, 'What?!' It's craziness. The rest of the girls swear they saw glimpses of her and different things like that, but I never saw it."
What does Phyllis look like? "Like a white shadow walking across the room. I'm like, 'Okay, you guys,'" Rounds says.
