Looking nothing like the depressed and bloated mess he was before sentencing, Boy George emerged from prison on Monday with a spring in his step, a glimmer in his eyes and more than a few pounds lighter.

The Culture Club singer waved and smiled while he left jail after serving four months of a 15-month sentence for falsely imprisoning a male prostitute at his home.
Months without his vices -- he has long battled drugs and alcohol -- did a number on the crooner's image. Right before sentencing in January, the real-life George O'Dowd was unkept and had heavy bags under his eyes.
Now, George is a slimmed-down new man, with his blue eyes popping with vim and vigor.
According to the Daily Mail, O'Dowd left Edmunds Hill Prison in Suffolk and went straight to his London home where he was greeted by friends and family. The Eighties icon is said to have sworn off alcohol, but is greatly looking forward to a plate of coffee and cake.
O'Dowd was released on good behavior but was ordered to wear an ankle monitoring device and stick to a strict curfew. He was convicted of holding male prostitute Audun Carlsen against his will (using chains) during a wild April 2007 incident.
The judge accused O'Dowd of "gratuitous violence" when he sentenced him in January.
