Lindsay Lohan's house was the target of an unsuccessful break-in on Tuesday, but police say the mess they found at the scene had nothing to do with burglars.
Skip over this contentA burglar alarm led police to the star's home at around 3 p.m. in Hollywood, TMZ first reported, and found that no one actually entered the home and nothing was stolen.
The mess inside the starlet's home prompted officers to ask, "Is it normally like this, or did the intruders do it?" said Los Angeles police Officer Karen Rayner.
Lohan was not at the house during the incident. TMZ is reporting that the LAPD is still going to conduct an investigation in the potentially bungled burglary.
