Chances are, if you're watching Beyonce Knowles perform live or in a music video, you'll also likely be seeing her show off her figure in some type of revaling outfit. So just how does she keep her curves while also not getting either too toned or out of shape? Knowles tells all to SELF magazine, which hits newsstands on May 26. Pics and quotes below!

On the Overwhelming Success of the 'Single Ladies' Video Choreography: "There's something about that song. I can't stop seeing the choreography [in my mind] when I hear it. My foot just starts doing the steps. It's so embarrassing! I don't want people to think I'm dancing to my own song, but I can't help it!" On How She Stays in Shape: "I'm trying to do as much cardio as I can, so if I have a really long day of dancing [in rehearsals], then I'll only run maybe 3 miles. If not, then I'll run 6. I'll put on a song that I really like and do [biceps curls with] 5-pound weights the whole song and just try to burn out." On Her Figure: "Ever since I was a little girl, my legs have been curvy and pretty muscular, but my arms have always been really skinny. They were so weak, I could barely hold a mic. But now I can do push-ups! Ten at a time!"

On Muscle-Laden Physiques: "To me, it's sexier when it doesn't look like you go to the gym. If you look like you've been spending a lot of time in the gym, then it just looks like you spend a lot of time in the gym. So I never want to get to that point where it's not natural. I think it's important to feel like a woman, as well as look like a woman." On Her Diet: "I'm not one of those people who doesn't have to work at it. I can't eat what I want, and I can't not go to the gym. I feel best when I'm not really thin and not really heavy, like now, when I'm still curvy. I really believe that everyone is supposed to be different, and whatever is a natural weight for you is usually what looks best."

On Her Food Temptations: "When I'm completely overwhelmed and tired, comfort food helps. I'll want to have some ice cream. Or when the tour is behind, I'm like, 'I just want some Krispy Kremes!' There's too much good food out there to never indulge."
