Susan Boyle sang her way into the finals of 'Britain's Got Talent' with Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Memories,' earning a standing ovation from the audience and Simon Cowell -- but there were plenty of critics of Boyle's.
One reviewer summed up his thoughts: "It was a wobbly performance, less assured than her storming debut appearance, but 'Britain's Got Talent' darling Susan Boyle returned to the show for Sunday's semi-final, winning a public vote to go through to next weekend's big final."

"In her much-hyped encore, however, Ms. Boyle appeared to be nervous, and began her rendition of 'Memories' from the musical 'Cats' singing slightly out of tune and clutching her abdomen," a blogger for The Wall Street Journal wrote.
The New York Post was a little more harsh toward the Scottish singer.
"Don't send me letterbombs or anything, but how awful was Susan Boyle's "Britain's Got Talent" semi-final performance of "Memories" this weekend? Between the mental images of Susan singing this song to her cats and the pleas to "touch me," it all just came off a little desperate and a lot pitchy," Jarett Wieselman ranted.
Even celebrities dissed Boyle's performance.
"Susan Boyle is so overrated," she tweeted. Adding, in a second post, that "yes, she can sing, but it's not about talent with her is it? she seems like a lovely lady but if its about talent, that Shaheen kid should win."
