With all his popularity and presence, 'American Idol' runner-up Adam Lambert can take his career just about anywhere. His next stop? Maybe Broadway.
Lambert told the NY Daily News he'd one day love to perform in 'Jesus Christ Superstar.'

"I'd love to play Judas," he said. "That's my dream role."
As for 'Idol' winner Kris Allen, Lambert sees him right up on stage next to him.
"Kris," Lambert said, "he could play Jesus!"
But for the moment, Lambert's working on his own music. And while rumors have been circulating about Lambert joining glam rock legends Queen as their new front man, Lambert denies any plans in the works.
"They've never actually offered me anything," he said. "They expressed interest in working together, but just said they'd like to have a meaningful conversation, and that's it. It could have meant they wanted me to come to dinner with them, it could have meant they wanted to talk about the meaning of life. I don?t know if joining the band permanently is in the cards for me right now. They?re legends; I?m just the new kid on the block."

    Who: Taylor Hicks
    Playbill Stats: 'American Idol' Season 5 winner, Taylor Hicks, appeared on Broadway in 'Grease' playing Teen Angel from June 2008 - September 2008. Now, he is currently starring in the first national tour of 'Grease.'

    Who: Constantine Maroulis
    Playbill Stats: He has starred in several Broadway shows including, 'The Wedding Singer' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar.' Now, he is starring as Drew Bowie in the Broadway production of 'Rock of Ages,' for which he received a 2009 Tony Award nod for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical.

    Playbill Stats: After releasing five records (as of 2009), the Season 2 'American Idol' runner-up landed the role of Sir Robin in Broadway's 'Spamalot.' His first stint ran from Jan. 18 - May 4, 2008. He returned a few months later and performed until Jan. 4, 2009 -- just weeks before the show officially closed on January 18.

    Playbill Stats: After releasing her debut album in 2004, Diana Degarmo turned her focus to theater, starring in the Broadway productions of 'Hairspray' (R) and 'Godspell.' In February 2009, she will star as Dorothy in 'OZ THE MUSICAL,' a touring show that will take place in Texas during February 2009.

    Playbill Stats: The season two contestant, Josh Strickland, had little camera time but landed the starring role as Tarzan in Disney's Broadway production of 'Tarzan.' After 14 months on stage, he performed during the final show on July 8, 2007.

    Who: Frenchie Davis
    Playbill Stats: Although Frenchie Davis was kicked off 'American Idol' after nude photos surfaced, she took her fame and headed to Broadway. She made her Broadway debut in 'Rent' on May 16, 2003 and stayed until April 2007.

    Who:Tamyra Gray
    Playbill Stats: The season one contestant made her Broadway debut as Priya in 'Bombay Dreams' but due to poor grosses, the show closed early on January 1, 2005. She then joined the cast of 'Rent' as Mimi Marquez on May 29, 2007 and performed until June 15, 2008.
