The sure-to-be-infamous part of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards where Sacha Baron Cohen's bare butt landed on Eminem's face, causing the rapper to angrily storm off? Yeah, that was staged.

Although neither MTV nor Eminem have commented on the situation, the award show's head writer, Scott Aukerman, has come clean about the stunt.

The LA Times spotted the admition from Aukerman, who has since removed the post from his blog.

"Yes, the Bruno/Eminem incident was staged. That's all anyone wants to talk about, so let's get it out of the way. They rehearsed it at dress and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show then. Okay, you can stop reading this blog now!"

Furthermore, sources close to Cohen confirmed to EW that the incident was rehearsed.

Bruno's Bare-Bummed Face-Plant on Eminem

During the Movie Awards, Cohen -- dressed as his character Bruno -- flew above the crowd to give the award for best male performance, wearing very little clothing, especially in his nether-regions. However, he ended up descending into the crowd, right onto the 'Slim Shady' rapper.

Eminem seemed to be furious as cameras caught him and his bodyguards making their exit.
