With the sad news of David Carradine's death (and possible suicide) still resonating around the entertainment world, PopEater was able to talk with Vivica Fox, who starred alongside Carradine in the 'Kill Bill' movies and whose voice was clearly shaken while discussing her late friend.
Fox, responding to reports that Carradine hanged himself in his Bangkok hotel room, tells PopEater exclusively that Carradine "lived a very full and charmed life," and that she doesn't know "what demons may have been battling him towards the end, but I would have never, ever thought that he would kill himself. I find that to be almost unbelievable that he hung himself. He did not seem like the person that would take his own life. It just seems so out of character."

Various reports claim that Carradine was found dead in his Bangkok hotel room after he allegedly hanged himself. A rep for Carradine, however, tells TMZ that his camp "can confirm 100% that he never would have committed suicide."
The actress says she "got to spend a lot of time with David when we were training for 'Kill Bill.' Six months of training, eight hours a day. I remember when we would finish he'd have his tea and we'd have breakfast together. David told me stories that dated all the way back to the '60s and they were all fascinating."
Fox, who found out about the news while in Miami for a party for her new show 'The Cougar,' said the initial news she heard was that Carradine was found dead in Vancouver, and that he had died of natural causes. She later learned that he was found in Bangkok, and that's when the possible suicide news was broken to her.
"Never did I sense sadness," she said of Carradine's persona, adding that he was "not even depressed. David was very chi, calm. He barely even raised his voice. He loved to laugh, he loved his stories and I'm just shocked. Suicide, I just find that to be so unbelievable. "
When it comes to her own life, Fox says that Carradine taught her "just to remain calm about life, not to get so riled up. He was just a very cool, calm and collected guy to be around. He said that came to him through kung fu and learning about the Chi and martial arts, centering yourself. He was amazing. I loved watching him act. Every day that I saw David was a joy."
In her closing words, Fox paid tribute to her late friend by saying that she feels "like God has called back one of his angels a little sooner than we all expected, and he will be truly missed. I will miss his stories, his smiles and his kind eyes."
