PopEater Tests Lindsay Lohan's Tanner

With Lindsay Lohan laying low lately, we here at PopEater found ourselves fixing for some LiLo, so we decided to get brave and conduct an experiment: We tried out her self-tanning spray, Sevin Nyne. The fine streets of New York City played host to our trial as we put our bodies and pride on the line for you, our fabulous readers. Check out pictures and video of our brave editors taking one for the team and getting a Lo-tan, all for the sake of journalism. Plus, we thought it was pretty funny/ironic that an ingredient in it is chardonnay extract. Anyhoo, here you go!

Call us jaded cynics, but we were anticipating the worst -- that neon orange glow best reserved for sites like NJGuido.com. It turns out, the stuff doesn't look half-bad ... in fact, it looks pretty good! That's the reaction we got from passerbys as well as co-workers.

The one downside is definitely the smell, which has that cheap tanning oil/coconut car air freshener scent, but apparently that's a common thing with spray tan products, so we can't single out LiLo for that. Still, definitely a turn-off, especially if public transportation is your ride home.

We went in with low expectations, and aside from some unevenness due to erratic spraying (blame the wind and human error) and a minor orange hue, Lohan's Sevin Nyne seems to be mostly legit. So, kudos to Lindsay on putting out a pretty decent product.
