Bensimon was arrested in March after allegedly thwacking Nicholas Stefanov in the face during an argument at her Manhattan apartment. If she completes the community service and stays out of trouble for a year, she'll be in the clear.
"I'm very pleased," Bensimon said outside court. "Justice was served."
Stefanov received a black eye and a cut on his face during the quarrel. The pair have since split, and Bensimon still holds her ex accountable for the attack.
"We don't have a relationship," Bensimon said outside court, according to the NY Daily News. "He was someone in my home who would not leave."
Bensimon, 40, a mother of two and the author of 'The Bikini Book,' is the newest addition to the NYC 'Housewives' clan, despite not being married.
