In a set of recent interviews with E!, Brooke Hogan discusses her family's roller coaster dynamics, where her loyalties lie and how she feels about her mother Linda's new, young beau.
The mudslinging between Brooke and Linda has been going on for months, with Brooke accusing her mother of taking drugs and Linda accusing her daughter of being a liar and father Hulk's pawn in a game of power plays.
"It's hard, because it plays with your heart," Brooke explains to E! News. "I look at the things she's released and said about me and I'm like, how could I ever trust her again?"

These days, Brooke has a much closer relationship with the Hulk than with her mother.
"I'm just looking at how my dad's treating me and how my mom's treating me, and my mom has kind of backstabbed me a couple times."
When the interviewer asked how she felt about the distance between her and her mother, she brought up how she and Linda were once "attached at the hip," and not having a relationship with her feels "like a death."
"It's like a break-up," she explained. "You don't talk to them anymore, you don't see them, you don't have anything to do with them."
Much of the reason for the distance between Brooke and Linda is Charlie Hill, Linda's new 20-year old boyfriend. Earlier this year, Brooke said she heard that Hill and Linda were using illegal drugs, something that doesn't fit into her healthy lifestyle.
"I personally don't like him," Brooke said. "He's getting suicide doors for his Mazda and getting ski trips to Big Bear and getting new clothes from Hurley and Roxy and Quicksilver and stuff. I don't know why my mom would even fall for it."
She did admit that the rocky split from her parents and the subsequent drama gets to her every now and then.
"There are times I do break down and I realize what's really happening and what has happened over the past year and half."
But despite the goings on of her family and the potential pitfalls for her own stability, Brooke chooses to remain vocal about her life and move on past the drama. Her new album, entitled 'The Redemption' is due out July 21, and her reality TV show 'Brooke Knows Best' is in it's second season.
"You can be judged by talking about it or you can be judged by not. I'm an honest person. I vocalize a lot of my feelings. I might as well do it now, right?"
