Susan Boyle, the 48-year-old singer who shot to worldwide fame during her run on 'Britain's Got Talent, may very likely wind up on the U.S. version of the show, according to judge Piers Morgan.
During a press conference with reportes, 'America's Got Talent' judge Morgan said that Boyle is welcome to jump over the pond and perform on the show. "If she's up for it and she is well enough ... our feeling is she probably will. Absolutely!" Morgan said when asked if Boyle might be coming to 'AGT.'
Skip over this contentBy "well enough," Morgan is likely referring to the fact that Boyle was hospitalized for exhaustion following her run on 'BGT,' in which she placed second despite her notoriety.
The brains behind the Boyle machine is Simon Cowell, who produces both 'AGT' and 'BGT.' Morgan said Cowell certainly plans to bring her to the U.S.
"Susan singing live to 25 million Americans? That would be great!" Morgan said.
We'll all just have to wait and see, as 'America's Got Talent' premieres June 23 on NBC.
