Paquin Goes From 'Blood' to Beach

Anna Paquin has been around Hollywood for years. She won an Oscar at 11 for her performance in 'The Piano,' though it's her role in the hit HBO show 'True Blood' that has put her smack in the forefront of today's young actresses. The blonde hammed it up on the beach for Self magazine's July issue, and chats about her very nude 'Blood' rolewhile she was at it.

On Shoe Choices:"I love being barefoot. I'm not going to lie -- I love my high heels,too, so I?m completely bipolar in that regard, but growing up in New Zealand, I was always verymuch a barefoot kid."
On Prepping for Her 'True Blood' Nudity: "After I was cast and realized my body would be exposed all the time, I went out and bought some shorts -- I owned none! -- to help me get used to it."
On Her Self-Consciousness: "You stop thinking, 'Do I look weird at this angle?' I've learned to feel very comfortable wearing very little. It's liberating!"
