Miley TwitPics Cause a Minor Scandal

It seems the older and more famous Miley Cyrus gets, the less she has to do in order to start up a firestorm simply with a photo.
The 16-year-old movie, TV and music star is at the center of another whirlwind thanks to photos posted on director Adam Shankman's yFrog page. In one pic, Miley is seen chest-to-back with Shankman, while in another, she's posing and squatting on a chair.

Now, we'll be the first to say that these pictures are pretty much nothing. While many say her picture with Shankman is too close for comfort, she's likely standing so close because the iPhone frame is narrow and they had to bunch up. As for the chair pic, it's maybe PG-13 at best.
Shankman has responded to the hubbub, saying: "Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She's like my angel little sister."
Cyrus has had several photo incidents that she's had to deal with in the past. Aside from personal self-portraits of herself in various states of undress, it was her Vanity Fair photo spread shot by Annie Leibovitz that caused a gigantic stir. In the photos, Cyrus -- then 15-years-old -- posed with her torso wrapped in just a sheet. Many thought putting a minor in such an outfit was inappropriate.
The uproar caused Cyrus to issue an apology. "My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," she said.
