Hunter's Fiance Nixes Wedding By Email

Model Rachel Hunter has split from her ice hockey player fiance Jarret Stoll, the UK's Daily Mail reports. Ostensibly, Stoll ended the relationship in person - but wedding guests were informed by the would-be groom via email. Stoll, 27, apparently did not provide a reason for the cancellation to the guests... or the bride.
A friend of the model told The Sun, "She is absolutely devastated. Everything was in place for their wedding - she had the venue, the designer dress, the guest list.

Stoll, who is 12 years Hunter's junior, proposed to Hunter last year after they'd been dating for two years. The wedding was planned for August 2009.
A friend of Hunter tells the Daily Mail that Hunter's ex-husband Rod Stewart has been comforting the model. "Rod has been amazing through all of this - a real support," the source said.
Hunter married Rod Stewart in 1990, when she was just 21. The couple were married until 2006, though they legally separated after nine years of marriage.
