Joy Behar Calls Off Nuptials to Patient Guy

Joy Behar has cold feet. In March, the witty 'View' host announced she'd be marring her boyfriend of 26 years, Steve Janowitz, but recent events and a dose of indecision have taken nuptials "off the table."

"I'm getting my own talk show on HLN, so I don't have to get married anymore," she joked at the Friars Club on Tuesday night, according to the NY Daily News.

"Actually, I got cold feet again, so I don't know what I'm going to do. It's off the table. What'll happen is, when I decide to do it, I'll do it, and then everybody will know I did it. I can't make up my mind."

Janowitz doesn't seem to mind, according to Behar.

"Steve is fine," Behar, 65, told the News. "He says, 'Do whatever you want.'"

Back in March, Behar spoke about why she and Janowitz had finally begun chatting up the idea of a wedding.

"Somebody that I know lost her partner. They were gay women. And the partner was in the hospital, and she had to pretend that she was her sister in order to really deal with stuff, " Behar told Barbara Walters on her radio show. "I don?t want that to happen to us ? and I also just feel that I want to."

Along with her duties on 'The View,' Behar has also landed her own show on HLN, a CNN offshoot, called 'The Joy Behar Show.'
