The sweet music of wedding bells was the only thing 'American Idol' judge Kara DioGuardi was hearing this weekend, as she wed her contractor boyfriend Mike McCuddy on July 5, In Touch Weekly is exclusively reporting.
The couple tied the knot in DioGuardi's hometown of Prospect Harbor, Maine. She wore a Vera Wang gown in the ceremony that just 30 people were invited to.
"I feel great," DioGuardi tells In Touch. "What was most unbelievable about the experience was when I looked out at the church and saw all these people that were so important to me and Mike, who were there for us. It was pretty powerful. I was very emotional and I'm not somebody who breaks down and cries," she said.

The 'Idol' judge and singer-songwriter says that the weather holding out for them was also a welcome blessing. "It's been raining in Maine for 60 days. The only day that was nice was yesterday!"
DioGuardi and McCuddy met while he was working on a house next to DioGuardi's. They got engaged in December.
