Tunes written for the winner to sing on the 'American Idol' finale have done well in the past - Kelly Clarkson's first chart-topper was 'A Moment Like This' - but the Kara DioGuardi-penned 'No Boundaries' lemon is going nowhere fast. The NY Post reports that Kris Allen's victory song has been dropped from the 'American Idol' tour.

'No Boundaries' was written before an 'Idol' winner was crowned, and as in seasons previous, sung by the top two contenders for the throne. DioGuardi, the newest judge on the 'Idol' panel, was criticized initially for favoring the vocal style and abilities of runner-up Adam Lambert. Along with Allen, Lambert also performed 'No Boundaries' on the show before audiences were allowed a final vote.
According to the NY Post, 'No Boundaries' has been so unpopular with audiences in the nationwide 'American Idol' concert series that, without comment, Allen was told to find a new song to replace it just a few shows into the tour. The tour, featuring the top 10 contenders from season eight of the show, began in Portland last Sunday.
