While there's conflicting reports on whether the Michael Jackson death investigation is being handled as a homicide (TMZ says it is, but Access Hollywood says it isn't), Michael Jackson's biographer now tells PopEater exclusively that there's three main suspects that police are looking into, and charges -- possibly homicide -- "will be" coming.
Ian Halperin, who recently released his book 'Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson,' tells PopEater that his sources "didn't use the word 'homicide,'" but did confirm that there are three primary suspects. "I think it's safe to assume it's the doctors," Halperin told PopEater. "There's two doctors and then one other person ... I'm convinced, based on information from my source, that yes, homicide or not, there will be charges laid against certain people for acting inappropriately and illegally."
So who exactly will be charged? Halperin wouldn't say, but did say his source claims it's "two doctors and one other person, who's definitely not a doctor."
In one word, Halperin summarized what he thought would happen should the LAPD slap either the doctors or anyone else involved with criminal charges. "Mayhem," he told us.
Halperin, citing the same Jackson source, also went into detail about the looming custody for Jackson's three children. He says there's "such a division amongst the family members," and also states that "it appears that both [Debbie] Rowe and [Katherine] Jackson are being deemed as undesirables to get custody of the children ... Somebody independent is going to have to step in and determine the fate of the children."
According to Halperin, there is "a lot of confusion" and "sentiment is that both parties are not capable of being legal guardians."He goes on to say that "perhaps California Child Welfare should step in and find suitable guardians. The concern is that the kids are not in a stable, comfortable environment."
