Kelis And Nas Welcome Baby Boy

Singer Kelis gave birth to baby boy named Knight on Tuesday, Us Weekly reports. "He's 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth," she wrote on her Twitter page. The baby's father (and her ex-husband) Nas posted an online video celebrating the birth. "My son is born today, so shout-out to my son, Knight," the rapper said.
Kelis also wrote that she was in labor for "3 of the longest most painful days of my life," adding, "I will remember for the rest of my life. He's kind of perfect."
Skip over this contentKelis announced her pregnancy in January when she was still married to Nas, who is also dad to a 15-year-old from a prior relationship.
The couple called it quits in May after Kelis filed for divorce citing verbal abuse and infidelity. She was seven months pregnant at the time.
