Kutcher: Mischa Barton is 'Doing Great'

Ashton Kutcher, creator of 'The Beautiful Life,' has denied rumors that hospitalized star Mischa Barton will be replaced in his upcoming CW series. Though Barton is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed medical problem, Kutcher said Friday, "I can tell you right now Mischa Barton is doing great."

The actor, who was attending a technology conference in Pasadena to discuss his use of social networking platforms such as Twitter, confirmed that Barton would be joining the cast of the show in New York shortly, according to a Reuters report.
Barton's spokesman Craig Schneider said in a statement that the actress is "improving each day" and hopes to resume production on the show next week.
