Suspicious Bag Outside Oprah's Studio

A suspicious looking backback with wires hanging out of it was found outside Oprah Winfrey's production studio on Friday morning, but Chicago bomb specialists have already defused the situation.

The Chicago Breaking News network is reporting that a dark-colored package was discovered in a flower bed near the Harpo Studiios when police were called. "Bomb and Arson [detectives] conducted remote diagnostics and rendered safe procedures without incident," a department spokesman said without revealing the contents of the bag.

According to TMZ, the studio, where Winfrey tapes her talk show, was not evacuated. It is not known whether she was in the building or not.
